CANCER PRECAUTION
PLUS: Prevention is better than healing
The
elementary precautionary care covered by the
State Health Insurance has a reliable basis:
starting from the age of 20: Cellular
smear of the cervix, palpation of the abdomen
starting from the
age of 30: additional palpation of the breasts
starting from the age of 50: additional
examination of the lower intestine
BUT: there are more comprehensive and effective
ways of diagnosing diseases early, which help meet the needs of many women for
a high level of reliability.
Numerous
IGEL examinations can be recommended from a medical
point of view, and complement the measures
planned by the State Health Care:
Ultrasonic examination of the vagina (Vaginal Sonography)
Early screening
for intestinal cancer
The
new immunological stool test, immoCARE, has a diagnostic success rate
which is twice as high as the regular tests covered by the
state health insurance.
