Eating for two ?

During your entire pregnancy you should consider the following rules when eating:


Do not eat for two, but breathe for two !
Do not eat double the quantity, but eat the right things forthe two of  you !
Exercise daily in fresh air!

When eating ,the quality and not the quantity makes the difference !

The most important rules:

  • eat a varied diet 
  • eat more fresh food, because pregnant woman need more vitamins and minerals
  • eat a high fiber diet 
  • drink a lot, at least  2 l daily
  • control your fat consumption
  • control your sugar intake
  • use salt sparingly; use iodized salt 
  • no alcohol
  • no cigarettes
  • lots of exercise in fresh air
