Don't be afraid. It is completely normal, if your heart beat speeds up when
you enter our clinic for the first time. But when a young
girl becomes a woman, she has many questions. These can be discussed in a personal, confidential talk with her gynaecologist.
What happens on your first visit ?
First
, a friendly assistant will enter your insurance card into the computer to read in your data and
fill out a new file with your particulars. Now you should tell her that this is your first time at
the gynaecologist.
Afterwards we will get to know each other; whereby on your first visit I will not examine you unless you have acute problems.
And what happens during the first examination ?
An examination is only necessary to rule out diseases and only if you agree.
The
examination will take place in a separate room. There is a changing room where you can prepare yourself for the examination.
For the examination it is necessary that you take off your panties. If you are wearing a skirt you could keep it on and later
just push it up. You donīt have to take off t-shirts or sweaters.
Then you just lie down, or rather sit,
on our new, comfortable examination chair. You place your feet on the
left and right foot rests, and
I will then be able to carry out the examination easily.
Do
I have to go to the gynaecologist if
I am completely healthy?
That
is so special
about gynaecologists: they are there for you even in healthy times.
For example: if you are uncertain, because you think your body
develops more slowly or faster than your friends. Or if you
want to discuss other topics about health and sexuality that are
important to young women.
And bring along your Certificate of Vaccination !
If
you want, we will take care of all INOCULATIONS
for you in the future, so that the immunity
provided by vaccinations against various diseases will be kept
up
to
date by booster shots.
