INFLUENCE INOCULATION in our clinic!

The new influenza vaccine certified by the Paul Ehrlich-Institute arrived in our practice punctually at the beginning of the flu season.

According to the guidelines of the Inoculation Commission at the RKI, the influenza vaccination is recommended for the following persons:

  • Persons over 60 years of age
  • Children and young people and
  • Adults in high risk groups

    Persons suffering from e.g. chronic lung disease, liver and kidney diseases, heart problems, diabetes and other metabolic diseases, immune deficiency, HIV infection, as well as inhabitants of nursing or retirement homes should also be treated.

    Persons in high risk groups, e.g. medical personnel or persons in institutions with extensive public traffic are also recommended to be vaccinated.

    The costs of the flu protective inoculation are fully covered by the legal health insurance for the individuals described above.

    BREAST CANCER - a cooperation with the AOK

    In my role as an authorized, coordinating specialist I am able to treat AOK patients who are suffering from breast cancer for 5 years, within a new Breast Cancer Program (DMP-Mammakarzinom).

    Experts believe that a network of specialists and clinics providing quality care and treatment will help to improve the care of affected patients as well as their chances to be cured.
